Elan Pharmaceutical Technologies selected Keating Building Corporation
as their construction manager to fit-out and renovate approximately 11,000
square feet of existing facility space for a new Loading Dock, Receiving
Area and Utility Room.
The project consists of the construction of two Clean Manufacturing Areas
served by a central Mechanical Core Area, a Clean Wash Area, Fluid Bed
Processing Area (Spray Coating Area) with its own Mechanical Support Room,
a Solids Manufacturing Room, a Tablet Compression Room, and a Testing
Laboratory including laboratory casework. There are additional support
areas including a Dispensing Room with Laminar Flow Booth, Cold Room,
Document Preparation Area and GMP Storage and Staging Area.
Included within the Utility Space is the installation and upgrade of new
electrical gear and the installation of cable tray and conduit to service
the new Manufacturing Suite. Included within the Utility Space is the

upgrade includes the installation of a new 750 K W Diesel Generator with
sound enclosure.
