The performance of soils and groundwater investigations has
been a mainstay of Keating Environmental’s business since its was
founded in 1988. These investigations have been associated with releases
from underground storage tank systems; spills and releases from industrial
operations; the evaluation and remediation of conditions at
Superfund and Brownfield sites; and the due diligence associated with
property transactions.
Keating Environmental’s personnel include registered professional
engineers and geologists, hydrogeologists, state-certified
evaluators, risk assessors and certified industrial hygienists who are
well versed in the practices and procedures associated with the installation
of soil borings and geoprobe assessments, groundwater monitoring wells,
product and groundwater recovery wells. We have utilized our expertise
in evaluations to delineate, map and evaluate the extent of
contamination, to model groundwater, aquifer response, contaminant
transport and natural attenuation, and to develop viable means for the
remediation of contamination, consistent with the latest regulatory sampling
and analytical requirements. Our soils and groundwater services
have been utilized on sites contaminated with DNAPLs, LNAPLs, PCBs, petroleum
products, solvents, metals and other contaminants. In addition, this is
but one of the many areas where we have provided law firms with expert
opinions and witnesses.
