Conshohocken Multi-Phased Development
Conshohocken, PA
Opportunity: To acquire a 17-acre former industrial site from a bankrupt estate.
Response: Keating worked closely with the Borough of Conshohocken, the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to gain the necessary approvals for development. With the agreement in place and the completion of prescribed remediation work, Keating freed the land development project from potential liability due to contamination caused by previous industrial owners.
Results: This multi-phased development includes the renovation and lease-up of two 40,000 sq. ft. office buildings and the development of two corporate headquarters buildings totaling 305,000 sq. ft., plus a 925-car parking garage. The final phase of the Conshohocken project is the development of a parcel of vacant land for residential, commercial and/or restaurant uses. When complete, Keating's Conshohocken portfolio will contain approximately 780,000 square feet of developed space.
