The historically certified Reading Terminal train shed serves as the banquet, pre-function and auxiliary convention space for the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This 360,000 sq.ft. facility is the most unique feature of the Center. The Train Shed includes a Grand-style Ball Room and the 48,000 sq.ft. grand hall which is utilized as ceremonial space for major City and convention center functions. A prefunction terrace (17,000 sq.ft.) transitions from the Grand Hall to the Ball Room, and two large meeting rooms (28,000 s.f.) to the north end can be subdivided into eight separate rooms to accommodate smaller groups.
