As Construction Manager, Keating Building Corporation was contracted by Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. to provide construction management services for six projects: one in Vicksburg, MS, one in Biloxi, MS, and four in Bossier City and Lake Charles, LA. This $65 million contract included the following projects:
Suites at the Isle - Casino Renovations - Bossier City, LA - a fast-tracked renovation of the existing landside pavilion and riverboat casino. Project included renovations and expansion of a new entrance pavilion, a new Caribbean Cove Showroom, a Calypso’s Buffet Restaurant; and an expansion/addition for the Farradday’s restaurant.
Inn at the Isle Resort & Hotel - West Lake, LA – a new 241-room hotel containing 231 typical guestrooms and 10 parlor suites, and renovations to existing resort space to accommodate a new Farradday’s Caribbean themed restaurant and 140 cars.
Suites at the Isle - Bossier City, LA - a new 320-suite hotel tower with themed pool area, convention space, meeting and board rooms, health club, and parking for 837-cars.
Isle of Capri Riverboat Casino - Tunica, MS - a 100,000 sq ft program involving complete renovations of riverboat casino and gaming areas, existing landside pavilion, back-of-house and kitchen area, buffet restaurant and retail, and a new Farradday’s themed restaurant.
Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel Renovations - Vicksburg, MS - Renovations and expansion of existing casino pavilion to accommodate renovations to existing buffet restaurant, and the relocation and expansion of poker and slot gaming areas.
Isle of Capri Miscellaneous Projects - Bossier City, LA - Construction of Isle of Capri’s employee parking, and a new ramp to the Riverboat Casino - for both public and staff access. Both projects proceeded concurrently with Keating’s other work at the Bossier City facilities.
