Keating's role spanned all phases of development and construction of The Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing. An important addition to the Delaware River waterfront, it is located on the eastern edge of downtown nearby Philadelphia's historic area, shopping and entertainment.
This luxurious 22-story, 460,000 sq. ft hotel tower offer 350 rooms, a 200-seat specialty restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the river, full convention-style banquet facilities, indoor pool, exercise room, sauna, and coffee bar. A 500-car parking garage provides ample parking for hotel guests and area visitors.
Because of its role as part of a larger waterfront revitalization plan, extensive coordination and participation with municipal and governmental agencies was required to assure a seamless fit with neighboring revitalization plans. The new hotel joins other area attractions including the newly opened Independence Seaport Museum, Blue Cross River Rink, and many restaurants and entertainment complexes along the Delaware River.
