Keating Building Corporation was selected as General Contractor for the 2,000 sq ft renovations of the Burn Treatment Facility (Level 4 ICRA); a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab; and renovations to the existing Pharmacy all within occupied space.
Burn Treatment Facility and Associated Areas - The project scope included demolition, renovation, and upgrading of the existing Burn Treatment Area, two main patient shower areas, and the main clinical storage area. The work included new ADA upgrades, removal and reinstallation of new medical gas piping and outlets, new floor drains, installation of new medical equipment, new scrub sinks, new tile floors and walls, new casework, new anti-microbial suspended ceiling system with aluminum grid and curtain tracks and a new Cerama-Guard suspended ceiling system.
Pharmacy Renovations - Multi-phased renovations with intensive ICRA conditions that included demolition of existing CCMC pharmacy, relocation of pharmacy employee offices; reconstruction of pharmacy drug distribution areas; and other renovations
Keating worked closely with Crozer’s medical and facilities staff to minimize the impact to existing operations. Through the use of proper scheduling, coordination and communication Keating seamlessly facilitated the complex demolition, renovations and upgrades within occupied hospital space while meeting all of the ICRA, health and safety codes.
