This state of the art children's hospital includes 310,000 sq. ft. of program space and 183 beds. The focal point is an expansive five-story atrium lobby with sky lit roof, creating a warm, non-institutional environment. As construction manager, Keating ensured the project remained within budget and achieved concurrent completion of hospital, professional arts building and garage.
Occupying the facility are operating suites, transplantation suites, ambulatory care pavilion, burn center, NICU, SCU, ISU/CCU, emergency department, nuclear medicine and radiology, cardiac care/cardiac catheterization, teaching and research facilities, physician specialties (neurology, neurosurgery, pulmonology, emergency medicine, nephrology, radiology, neonatology, surgery, hematology, plastic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, endocrine and metabolic diseases).
The four-story, 112,000 sq. ft. Professional Arts Building provides outpatient services, research laboratory space and 200-seat teaching auditorium. A six-story 850-car parking garage services the hospital and professional arts building
