Philadelphia’s most imposing Depression-era Federal building (1932) has been preserved and enhanced by all the amenities, systems and safety features of a modern office building. This structure stands in the center of Philadelphia’s historic district.

A special feature is the restored decorative dome with an illuminated oculus, the centerpiece of the entire architectural composition. The project was completed on time and under budget in a partially occupied facility and received the GSA Honor Award for historic preservation and restoration and was also among Buildings Magazine’s Modernization Award-Winning Projects.
