Keating was selected by Rutgers to construct a 13-story residence hall with 156 suites (bedrooms, living areas, kitchens & baths). This new residence will house 600 undergraduate students and includes a student computer lab, multi-purpose room, study lounges, and retail space.
It will join Talbott Apartments, which houses graduate students, and Woodward Hall, an undergraduate residence hall both of which exceed 100 percent capacity. The new residence hall will help to alleviate the overcrowding that has forced Rutgers-Newark to place some resident students in a hotel in downtown Newark, and others in dorms at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
