Villanova University’s student apartment complex is the focal point of the University’s 49-acre West Campus development. In two quadrangles along the major pedestrian spine of the West Campus, the Student Apartments are comprised of four, 3-story buildings that contain a total of 616 beds within 200,000 square feet built into a scenic wooded area. This project was one in a long-standing relationship between Keating Building Corporation and Villanova.
Each apartment has its own entry into an atrium lobby. The lobby is adjacent to a landscaped patio for small gatherings. Each apartment houses four students with a full kitchen and private bath, as well as a separate living/dining room. Each building is also equipped with a laundry room and exercise facilities.
The dormitories are ashler stone with sloping slate roofs to reflect the overall architectural character of the existing campus. Cast stone accents and low garden walls maintain a residential scale and quality.
